Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube, the world's most popular video streaming site, has stepped down. She will be replaced by her longtime deputy Neal Mohan. In her farewell letter, Wojcicki also praised the new YouTube CEO, saying that Mohan played a pivotal role in launching some of the biggest YouTube products, including YouTube TV, YouTube Music, Premium and Shorts. With conversational AI being a topic everyone is talking about, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for YouTube after Mohan's elevation.

Mohan joined Google nearly 15 years ago as part of Google's 2007 acquisition of DoubleClick. After serving as SVP of Display and Video Ads, he became YouTube's Chief Product Officer in 2015 and has overseen the company's product since then. He has also led YouTube TV, YouTube Music, Premium and Shorts, as well as YouTube's Trust and Safety team.
