"Making Insurance Work for Everyone"
Founded in 2019 and led by CEO Marijn Moerman, Alicia believes that creating good and appropriate insurance plans for all independent contractors will help stop the rise in the number of uninsured or underinsured freelancers. Marijn Moerman,
Alicia offers customized insurance solutions delivered on digital platforms used by independent companies such as the Dutch Knab bank app or recruitment agency HeadFirst Group. In other words, whether people are organizing their funds in a banking app or taking a freelance job, the company provides them with the 'most' suitable insurance package.
The technology platform has added 20 new partners in recent months and is growing rapidly, Alicia said in a statement. Through their partnership with Roamler, work platforms across Europe gain access to an aggregated plug-and-play insurance solution. This partnership is in line with Alicia's ambitions to expand internationally. In addition to the Netherlands, the insurance solution is also available in Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and the UK. Alicia also claims to have 100,000 insured independent contractors by the end of this year.
About Use of Capital
