Cypher Games, a mobile game studio based in Istanbul, announced that it received an investment of 3.2 million dollars from its investment tour. The investment round was led by Play Ventures, 500 Global, Finland-based Next Games, Elite Game Developers founder Joakim Achrén and UK-based Tripledot Studios founder Akın Babayiğit. This investment will be used to develop the first Casual Mobile Merge game and double the team.
Cypher Games is an startup founded by Anıl Şimşek, Tuan Çilingir, Burak Taban, Emir Kocaağa, Mert Can Özcan and Ezgi Balkan. The company aims to become a globally leading studio in the field of mobile merge games. There is a merge game that the team previously published together.
Anıl Şimşek, one of the founding partners, stated that the mobile game talent pool in Turkey is very strong. Şimşek also stated that every team member who joins Cypher Games is seen as a long-term partner of their company.

Studio Cypher Games' Target is 2023
The company has reserved a significant amount of stock pools for their new teammates. The company plans to open its second offices in Berlin after the release of its first games. As of 2023, it will offer the opportunity to work in the offices they want.
Play Ventures partner Harri Manninen stated that they are happy to lead Cypher Games' first investment round. Manninen expressed that they are confident that the Cypher team can become a world-class casual studio. Manninen also said that Turkey's mobile game ecosystem is very strong. He added that they believe the Cypher team will become one of the leading studios such as Peak, Dream and Bigger.
Enis Hulli, one of the 500 Global partners, stated that the entrepreneurship ecosystem of Turkey is the most important indicator that a new unicorn can be introduced every year in the field of mobile games.
