According to Kandilli data, a total of 772 aftershocks have occurred in the earthquake zone so far, 212 of them with a magnitude of 4 and above. In Turkey, a total of 170 earthquakes of magnitude 4 and above occurred in 2022. The World Health Organization has declared a 'Level 3 Emergency', the highest level for an earthquake in Turkey. The number of deaths was 8,574. There are 49,133 injured.
