iQOO NEO 7 Racing Edition Launches with Ambitious Features

iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition has been launched in China with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Neo 7, the third member of the family after the standard and SE versions, includes the highest hardware features. With a fast processor and advanced display features, the device stands out with its gaming performance.

Hardware and Performance Specifications

The iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It comes with an accelerated version of the 3.2 GHz chipset and delivers very smooth performance. The smartphone includes up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In addition to the highest storage, you can also choose 8 GB, 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB and 256 GB of storage. The device provides good cooling with its vapor chamber for heat dissipation. The phone, which has a 5,000mAh battery, can be charged in a short time with 120W fast charging support. The device can be charged from 0 to 50 percent in 8 minutes and from 0 to 100 percent in about 30 minutes.

Screen and Design Specifications

The Neo 7 Racing Edition is equipped with high-performance display features for a mid-range device. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels and full HD+ resolution. With a 120Hz screen refresh rate, the device performs well in games and videos, delivering vibrant colors with 500 Nit base brightness and 1500 Nit peak brightness. Supported by a smart screen refresh rate, the device can drop down to 30Hz refresh rate for better battery life.

The HDR10+ phone has flat edges and a selfie camera at the top. For graphics, the smartphone is powered by an Adreno GPU (graphics processing unit). As security hardware, the Neo 7 Racing Edition features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Two-finger touch, 360Hz sampling rate with 2000Hz sampling rate and additional support for DC-like dimming are seen as other features that make the device powerful.

The smartphone is available in two versions, a glass version in black and a leather clamshell version. The glass version is 8.55 mm thick and weighs approximately 202 grams. The leather clamshell version is 8.89 mm thick and weighs 197 grams. On the back of the phone is a square-shaped camera section set with two large and one small lens. The brand name iQOO is located at the bottom of the back case.

The camera

To meet user needs, the Neo 7 Racing Edition features a triple camera configuration on the rear. A 50 MP Samsung S5KGN5 main camera is powered by built-in OIS (optical image stabilization). The smartphone has an 8 MP super-wide sensor as the second camera. The third is a 2 MP macro camera.
