ERBS has been measuring values in the Atmosphere for 21 years
During its fall, scheduled for this weekend, it is claimed that parts of the ERBS will burn up as it enters the atmosphere and therefore could spread to Earth. The mission of the ERBS spacecraft, sent into space on NASA's ERBE mission, was to measure changes in the atmosphere. Because ERBS also investigated the values that reveal the damage to the atmosphere. It also looked at things like how the Earth absorbs and radiates energy from the sun.
The Earth landing is expected to take place on Sunday. But some technology companies say it could take until Monday. During the fall of the satellite, which weighs about 2.5 tons, the chances of someone being injured are 1 in 9,400.
