Powerdot, a Lisbon-based EV charging point operator, announced the successful completion of a €100 million financing round led by Antin Infrastructure Partners and Arié Group. It allows Powerdot to further accelerate its R&D projects, expand its charging infrastructure, in particular through the installation of an additional 10,000 EV charging points, and continue to build strategic partnerships across Europe.

Powerdot is Active in France, Spain, Poland and Belgium Apart from Its Own Market
The company, founded in 2018, reports an explosion of growth throughout 2023. This is evidenced by a 201 per cent increase in operational charging points and a 218 per cent increase in kWh consumption. The company currently operates more than 5,000 charging points at around 1,300 locations. It plans to install an additional 10,000 charging points in more than 1,400 locations. We can only add for Powerdot with more than 500 locations in Portugal. It is the largest EV charging point operator in the country in terms of fast and ultra-fast charging points. Outside its home market, Powerdot also operates in France, Spain, Poland and Belgium and employs 140 people.
