LinkedIn, the social media app for professionals, will now support scheduling posts for later as part of the rollout of a new feature. As Tech Crunch reports, the scheduling feature is represented by a clock where users can select a specific date and a half-hour time slot when preparing a post.

LinkedIn Will Allow Users on Android and Web to Schedule Posts
Microsoft-owned LinkedIn is working to introduce a feature that would allow users to schedule their posts, the media reported. And according to social media consultant Matt Varra, the feature is definitely coming to the website. "LinkedIn is an animated schedule posts feature. Currently only available on Android and web. Watch out for the clock icon to schedule your next post" he said on Twitter. The Android app and the LinkedIn website also witnessed the post scheduling feature.
According to a report by TechCrunch, when a user clicks on the clock icon, they will be given the option to choose a specific date and a half-hour window in which they want to schedule their posts. LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, now has more than 875 million members, with international growth growing about twice as fast as in the US. There are now more than 150 million newsletter subscriptions on the website, a 4-fold increase each year.
