Iris.ai was founded in 2015 by Anita Schjøll Abildgaard, Victor Botev and Jacobo Elosua. The startup serves as an artificial intelligence engine for making sense of scientific texts. It also has a solution called Researcher Workspace. This solution provides intelligent searches, many different smart filters, reading list analysis, automatically generated summaries, systematization of data and autonomous inference.

Background to the Iris.ai Investment
This startup, Iris.ai, has announced that it has received a €2.4 million grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC) and is eligible for up to €12 million in equity investment. In addition, EBRD is a European program that serves to identify, develop and scale up new and promising technologies. EBRD is now in its 3rd year as a full-fledged EU fund. EBRD finances the most promising and promising ideas across the entire European continent. In this way, the fund aims to help the European economy and has a total budget of around €470 million.
